CourtFlow: September 2026

September was all about making CourtFlow easier to use on the day, less administration for organisers, better payment visibility, smarter use of courts and a few highly requested improvements for clubs and players.

Many of these changes came directly from feedback after real sessions, Rumbles, competitions and court bookings.

Rumbles Just Got Easier to Run

Rumbles received some of the biggest improvements this month.

Players can now self check-in, taking another job away from captains and organisers at the beginning of a busy Rumble day.

We’ve also improved how CourtFlow makes use of available courts. As divisions or earlier waves finish, those courts can now become available for later games, helping organisers get through the remaining schedule more efficiently rather than leaving courts sitting empty.

Payment management has improved too. Captains can more easily see who has paid, manage players coming in from the waitlist and send a payment link directly to players who still need to pay.

There have also been a number of improvements behind the scenes to player movement and game generation to make running larger Rumbles smoother.

Better Competition & Partner Management

We’ve made several improvements for clubs running competitions, particularly doubles and other partner events.

Partners are now grouped together on the competition management screen, making it much easier for organisers to see who is actually playing together.

When a player registers a partner, CourtFlow can now email that partner a link inviting them to sign in, helping connect the registration to their CourtFlow account.

We’ve also improved what happens when entries change after payment. Where appropriate, an entry fee from a withdrawn player can now be transferred to an unpaid player who is still participating, avoiding unnecessary payment headaches for organisers.

Team captains also have better visibility of player payment status and can request payment from players who still need to pay.

Easier Club Administration

A simple but frequently useful addition this month: clubs can now export their member list to CSV.

This gives club administrators an easy way to work with their membership information in Excel or other systems when they need to.

We’ve also continued improving how CourtFlow accounts are linked so that different account types for the same person lead back to the same member account.

For clubs using Stripe, we've added support for accounting codes on club transfers, helping clubs identify and reconcile CourtFlow payments in their accounting processes.

See Who Has Booked the Court

Another requested improvement arrived for Court Hire during September.

Clubs can now choose to display the name of the person who has booked a court.

When enabled by the club, members can see who has made a booking rather than simply seeing that the court is unavailable.

It’s a small change, but one that can make the court calendar much more useful for clubs where members regularly organise games around each other's bookings.

More Control Over Events

Clubs running events through CourtFlow can now choose whether they want to publicly display the number of tickets remaining.

Sometimes showing availability helps encourage registrations. Other times, clubs simply don't want that information displayed publicly.

Now the choice belongs to the club.

Ask CourtFlow Keeps Learning

We introduced Ask CourtFlow previously, and development has continued during September.

We've improved how the assistant uses CourtFlow's support information, tightened how questions and context are handled, and worked on making its answers shorter and more useful.

We've also added a new Game Modes page explaining the different ways activities can be run through CourtFlow, helping clubs understand the options available before deciding which format suits their players.

Lots of Little Improvements

Not every improvement needs a big announcement.

September also included fixes and refinements across Super Admin tools, payments, transactions, account handling and the wording shown throughout CourtFlow.

A lot of these changes start the same way: someone using CourtFlow tells us something could work better.

We look at that feedback, work out whether it will benefit other clubs and players, and where it makes sense, build it into the platform.

That feedback continues to shape CourtFlow every month.

On to October

CourtFlow continues to grow alongside the clubs using it, and there is plenty more being worked on.

Thank you to all of the club administrators, tournament directors, captains and players who continue to send through suggestions, report problems and tell us what would make running pickleball easier.

Keep the feedback coming.

See you on the courts!
